Basically Bikes was set up by Justine Brackenrig when she found it nearly impossible to find a light zippy road bike for her 9 and 10yr old. What she was looking for was basically a small version of an adult road bike, complete with quality componentry at an affordable price. Price was a big factor as not only do kids grow quickly, but they could just as easily lose interest in the sport!

This she found in the Denali 24" road bike and after a great response from her kids and others in the local cycling and triathlon clubs, Basically Bikes is filling a niche in the growing market.
